The fifth event I attended was an academic one. It was a study abroad session for Spain. It was November 18 in room 124 Thomas. It talked about the excellent program that was faculty led. The session is over the summer and is for 9 credits. It was about a month long. You would go to Ronda, Spain and live with a host family while taking classes. Those classes would be language and culture based. It was act as a language requirement, and would give people the opportunity to study Spanish aboard rather than in classroom here at Penn State.

After attending this meeting, I realized studying abroad wasn’t for me. Although, I think the opportunity is a great one. I’m not a huge fan of traveling, so I knew this opportunity wouldn’t be fun for me. It is definitely something someone who loves to travel should take advantage of.
